Terms & Conditions

By making a booking with Pipers Paws, you agree to our standard Terms & Conditions as set out herein:

 Bookings, Payments and Cancellations

At the time of booking via our automated bookings system, you may amend your original booking once only (up to 3 days before the original booked date) to a different date (aligned to availability).

If Your Abbreviated Company Name Here accepts a request to change the services booked, the original price and completion times in the booking will be adjusted by Your Abbreviated Company Name Here as appropriate, and the changes notified to the customer. Your Abbreviated Company Name Here may decline to carry out any requested changes due to time availability or other reasons that prohibit the smooth running of Your Abbreviated Company Name Here business.

* No fee is applied for rescheduled appointments respecting the condition stated above.

You may cancel your original booking up to 3 days before the original date booked. Less than this or a no show to the appointment will result in a one-off charge of the original full groom value. This will need to be paid in full before securing the next appointment.

There may be occasions where additional grooming is required beyond what was initially quoted and couldn’t reasonably be identified or foreseen at the time of booking. We will endeavour to contact you immediately when we are made aware of this, but any additional costs shall be your responsibility, and Your Abbreviated Company Name Here shall not be liable for these.

Please pay the balance due by cash, credit/debit card or by BACS transfer. Payment must be made when collecting your dog from the salon (card or cash) or during the groom if paying by BACS. We will confirm receipt before releasing your dog to you.

Time Keeping

We work by appointment only. If you are late by more than 15 minutes (without notice) your appointment may be rescheduled. Most grooms will take between 1hr 30mins to 2hr 30mins or more depending on the size of the dog and its coat condition. If you think you will be late, please call Your Abbreviated Company Name Here in advance to advise.

Please plan to arrive 5 mins early for your appointment. We do not have facilities to separate more than 1 dog being treated per groomer. WE CAN NOT accept the next dog until the previous dog has left the salon.

I will come out of the salon to take your dog in and will call or text you around 20 minutes before the groom has finished to notify you of a time to collect your dog.

Groom Duration

Times for commencement and completion of any grooming service given by Your Abbreviated Company Name Here are given in good faith, however, unless specifically guaranteed, Your Abbreviated Company Name Here will not be liable for any delay in commencement or completion of a grooming service.

Where appropriate, Your Abbreviated Company Name Here will notify the customer of any delays at the earliest opportunity.

Your Pet’s Health & Welfare

By attending the appointment, you the owner, confirm that your dog is fit and healthy.

Grooming of sick and/or elderly dogs is entirely at owner’s risk. We do not take responsibility if your dog develops an allergic reaction to any grooming products. Please let us know of anything in advance, if known, or please notify us of ANY irritations caused afterward, there are changes that can be made for future grooms to minimise these factors.

Neglected & Matted Coats

I will not accept liability for any conditions arising following the clipping of a matted dog. Examples are, but not limited to, irritation, redness, and nicks from the blades. Conditions can already be present beneath the knots and matts that are not visible until the matts have been removed. We will always be honest and advise if we feel a vet should examine your dog.

Having matted hair or tight knots removed from your dog may make him/her feel strange for a few days after being clipped so be aware they may cause injury to themselves via scratching.

Ear Plucking

Anal Glands

I do not preform anal gland expression. Please seek treatment from your vet for this.

Due to the nature of our work, we do not offer or imply any sort of guarantee or warranty. We are happy to offer advice on how to care for your dog following a groom, but Your Abbreviated Company Name Here cannot be held responsible for your actions, or any subsequent issues caused directly or indirectly by yourself.

Groom Feedback

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your dog’s groom, please let us know ASAP.

We welcome feedback, and this can be done via the Your Company Name Here Google Business Page or Facebook Business page.

If there is an issue, we do however request you to discuss with us first to give us the chance to explain or rectify the issue should it need readdressing.
